I'd be suprised if anyone win 4 grand finals straight again in most of our lives. Nathan is one of the greatest but just hasn't dominated origin. One might even argue Yeo is the better player? Its probably closer then many think tbh.

Its just a weird comparison. Completely different players who do different things.

Not trying to shut down the conversation. I just don't think you can land on a criteria on deciding whether a lock or halfback is the better player.

In each position they are our best ever at Penrith.

Too also. The thing is Nathan gets all the wraps but those two are probably a huge reason why You’ve won 4 on trot

I would like a greater focus on the best team of the year by position. It should be more highly prized than the Dally M itself which 99% of the time goes to a spine player.

Sometimes just barely meeting your KPIs as a half gets you all the points. You've got forwards in the same match busting their arse pulling huge numbers who are lucky to even get 1 point from a judge.

The Dally M award is a farce. Need every player rated out of 10 every week

Dally M is always going to be won by a player who is great in a side with guys who aren't stealing his points and the media loves

I grew up in Brisbane and played with/against a host of players - Thurston, Smith, Cronk, Clint Amos, Parker and a pair of brothers from Wigan that went back to England to go on and have decent professional careers (Mark and Martin Gleeson).

I didn't know Martin Gleeson played out here. He was a good player.

He already is elite in my opinion. Of all the players lost even before he played First Grade, I rated him the one to come back and haunt Penrith.
