His younger brother Mark was a much better player in juniors. Mark played hooker and had the best tackling technique I have ever seen - back when legs tackles were the norm. I remember him chopping down Corey Parker over and over again in a u13 or u14s game, which was no easy feat given Parker was about the same size he was in the NRL as a 14 year old. As you well know, size and strength at that age really makes a huge difference.I didn't know Martin Gleeson played out here. He was a good player.
Any other poms?
Zzzzzzz we don't want top 4
They won’t play a prelim out of commbank mate. It’s Homebush or Moore Park - pretty sure they are the rules. I could be wrong on that though…Imagine finishing 4th and going to Canberra while the Dogs and Storm thrashing the shit out of each other.
If you managed to beat Canberra which is a 50/50 I reckon you have a home final. And possibly against a side ranked 5th-8th.
You want us to be the first side to win it from outside it!? HahahaZzzzzzz we don't want top 4
f**k yeah let's really ice this cakeYou want us to be the first side to win it from outside it!? Hahaha

Martin was nothing special as a junior from memory - he is a few years older than me and it was a long time ago. I think he played lock, backrow or centre as a junior. Martin obviously went on to win a man of steel or 2, premierships and represented England. Which you would never have picked if you had seen both brothers play as juniors.
Not sure of any other poms that emigrated and played juniors here. Farnworth played juniors in England I’m pretty sure.
Thankyou Andrew Johns for saying that Brisbane will make the top 4 and Penrith can't win the comp because it's too hard. Parramatta says otherwise

Daddy's very proud of his boys.Parra did you a huge favour. Win and its 5th.
Top 4 is on imo
The words of the great manDaddy's very proud of his boys.
Well played Hindy. The Eels looked gassed towards the end, but they held on and didnt' deserve to lose, especally for the new fullback. Good for the Panthers too.Cmon the Eels. I reckon everyone on here is supporting the greatest team in the world tonight.
If we win and you win it's 5th position. Can we do it for our big brothers....Yes we can.
Go the Eels
Yeah the phins on their day are scary and can really pile on points quickly. I don’t fancy the thought of a shootout if we aren’t 100% on with our brick wall defence.Brisbane shock loss. Only the insane will complain on here.
Top 4 would be amazing but I'll take 5th. That means a 5 v 8 finals match up. Of the possible teams to take 8th I'm not too worried but some options are better than others.
Least desirable: Dolphins. Sparkling attack. I don't want us having to put on a lot of points to win a contest.
Most desirable: Roosters. We've got a beautiful record against them in finals match ups this decade.
