Lets not get carried away yet, as i said to the young fella after dragons lost to the knights we are not in the 8 yet and there is still a few twists and turns left in the season. But i must admit I'm getting excited that we are very close to playing finals after such a shit start to the season.

We'll probably make the 8, but as yet haven't produced any football worthy of the finals.

Last season about this time, a little earlier, we were winning games but our form was nothing that had the top teams thinking about us come finals time. Then we put 30 points on Brisbane in Brisbane in about round 20.

We need a performance like that some time soon or we're just making the numbers. Betting on supersized Fish, Cartwright and maybe Kikau up the middle I think is our best hope.

Amazing what can be achieved when the players and the coaching staff don't give up.

Compare this to some of the other teams who had no right in losing their positions on the ladder in the top 8 who are ATM,in freefall.

We,just like the players,need to take this week by week,as tempting as it is to call ourselves out in getting into the 8,too early.

Some big games to make it.... I think meed to win 3/5 and get to 30 points.

Canberra and Manly away are hard ganes while saints and cowboys will be fighting to the last top 8 spot as could Manly.
4 games that will be brutal and played hard.

Destiny appears to be in our hands. Keep winning and we'll be there for sure. Maybe we could afford to drop 1-2 matches if the Dragons and Manly keep performing the way they are. My fear about tomorrow is that we may feel we just have to turn up, but the Tigers are a different team now under Cleary - it won't be a blowout like the last 2 matches against them.
