Oh what a surprise looks like TMM is "injured" again
Damn I was looking forward to that game.

Maybe an agreement was made that TMM would only be released if he didn't play against us this year.Oh what a surprise looks like TMM is "injured" again
While we certainly need some oomph up front, especially against the Cows, lets hope they've taught Dickfingers Kikau how to hold the football.Kikau needs to be brought in for Katoa IMO. Need some more impact up front with Latu out.

Has no problems in NSW Cup playing 60 minutes a game. As I have said before if you give a kid half a dozen minutes it is not surprising they have mistakes in there game given the pressure they feel to perform or do something special.
But he's given half a dozen minutes because in those half a dozen minutes he's made crucial errors.
The kid can obviously play, everyone can see that (incl. coach + management) but he needs to fine tune a few things. I'd be pretty surprised if he wasn't a regular fixture in first grade next year.
What is being said to be TMM's 'injury'?

Will be cheering on the Warriors, Titans and Tigers this weekend. If we get our job done and a few results go our way it could make for a far more comfortable and less stressful last couple of weeks in the season proper.
Ah nothing like optimism. It's still possible, mathematically of course.Add Knights and Broncos so we can go for top 4![]()
Girds says we are done.

“I just don’t think they’re playing the right style of football at this time of the year,” Girdler told NRL Tonight.
“Their last four weeks, even though they’ve been winning, they been against some of the sides at the bottom end of the competition.
“Even though they’ve been winning it hasn’t been a convincing style of footy that they play. They’re running it on the last, they haven’t got a lot of the fundamentals in order at the moment.”

Pretty much. Unless we catch them on a bad day our usual performance will be no where near good enough to beat the rest of the top 8, we can do it if we play well for 80 minutes but that's happened once all year.
Also that Gerard Condon bloke who makes a living tipping footy reckons the best bet of the weekend is us to miss the 8 at 3 dollars. Now he's not always right but if we don't win this week and the raiders do we are in trouble.
This is why the talk of extending the coach is just crazy imo, let's just wait.
Edit: If we do win this week it probably secures our spot though, you'd think we'd be able to pick up one more win from the remaining three at least, so its a huge game for us either way. We do not want to be going down to Canberra needing to stop the raiders leaping us into the 8.
Two complete different topics here. One is betting odds, ie whether $3 is generous odds for us to miss the 8. Personally, I think it is about right. We only need to win two home games, one against a banged up team 3000km from home and the other against a team that has won 4 from their last 13. On form over the last 3 months and discounting one poor performance, you have to think we can do that. Also that Gerard Condon bloke who makes a living tipping footy reckons the best bet of the weekend is us to miss the 8 at 3 dollars.
