f**k the Storm. If the roosters, sharks or parra play their best for 80 they'll beat them. Which come finals there's a good chance they will.

Our problem is we are yet to find our best and time is running out.

Watching the Storm run train on the Rabbits its hard to see anyone touching them. Souths haven't been playing terrible but Melbourne just have incredible structure and do all the little things right.

I'm not too worried that it's not our year. I just want to see us continuing to improve on the basics, play tough and hopefully cause an upset or two to go deep and get our kids some more experience to be a real shot next year.

Rugby League is a funny game. If I were a Storm fan I'd be nervous after a flogging like that. I'd be nervous they won't reproduce it when it really matters. To be honest they weren't much more than workmanlike in the second half but they were quite outstanding in the first, albeit with all the ball.

The fact that we were ever comp favourites just goes to show how many poor analysts there are in the NRL. How is it possible we would be more favoured than Melbourne who we NEVER beat? lol... so the favourites thing is just stupidity from people who get over excited. There's too many young and inconsistent players in our team and a dud coach to be a contender or a top 4 team. Bottom half of the 8 or even 9th and missing out altogether would be a fair enough reflection of the season.

I never thought Penrith were a premiership threat, especially not after the horrible start to the year... I just wanted this club for once to make back to back finals series in the top grade, is it really too much to ask?... Hopefully the Broncos hammer the Cowboys so we'll still get a finals appearance and some valuable big match experience whether we win or lose against Manly.
