Same.

DWZ can be damaging at fullback. But he doesnt read a game like Edwards does... and he can be shocking at times. Although rarely in back to back games.

No one else can play wing aswell as him. Obviously Blake will shift there with Whare back at centre. But suddenly we have weakened 3 positions to cover an injury.

Our pack aside from RCG just had nothinf gor the Dragons. Use our backline to justify it all you want... they were completely destroyed by Dragons in Round 1 also because we didnt have Mansour, DWZ and Edwards carrying them.

Our pack is average and rely upon our wingers making metres. We should be getting more from Tamou and Merrin considering their worth.

Yes we have a genuine cat pack.

May stays at 6 has been great as well as defensively would be too much if Moylan slotted back in coming back from injury.
At fullback Moylan can choose when to exert himself in attack.

If Cowboys win on Thursday, will be interesting to see if Moylan is rushed back (if in a position to risk him that is).

He has to be. We cant afford not to use him if theres a chance we dont make it. Especially with Edwards out.

We had a good run with injuries. But are losing important players at the worst possible time.

Edwards season is more than likely done. 3 weeks... that means he would miss week 1 and 2 of the finals. Extremely unlikely we make it to week 3.

Moylan finals at earliest... well after losing to Dragons theres a very real chance we dont make it. So he's potemtially not playing again. Worth rushing him back IMO.

Thats half our spine. Wallace is playing busted and is in very poor form. Katoa is just deadset average... I really dont understand how hes in the team at all.

Rein is better than Katoa and was playing better than Wallace has lately. On form and fitness he should be our 9... and I say that as someone who doesn't rate him at all. The games he played were the best we have gotten from a hooker for most the year. Aside from May at 9 last week... when he replaced Katoa i thought he looked good there

Actually if May can play fullback (ive never seen him play there, but its listed on our website for him) Hook might consider May at 1 and Carty at 6.

I think its a long shot... i really dont think May is built like a fullback and its not fair on Carty either... but it could possibly be the least stuffing around this far from finals.

1. May
2. Mansour
3. Peachey / Whare
4. Blake
5. DWZ
6. Cartwright
7. Cleary

May is the only new combination there and if he plays fullback like Moylan does it wouldn't be a huge change for him. Just a matter of if he can contest kicks and how his legs go with extra running.

Obviously its not ideal. But it might be better than weakening 3 of our 5 backs to cover an i injury.

1. DWZ 4. Whare 5. Blake

It makes the most sense & despite Sunday, DWZ is a more than capable fullback. Disappointing we can't have Blake at centre but there's not really any other choice.

Few of us have been saying since the first month of the season that Wallace is done. Other then experience and one kick a game, not sure what else he brings. I don't think it's any coincidence that our forwards get swamped with him at 9 yet seem to be a lot more effective with Katoa/Rein at Hooker. Won't happen but Katoa would be my 9.

So is Tom Eisenhuth up to it? I haven't seen him play but if he's any good at all he might be preferable to the messy reshuffle Whare entails. Whare's problem is that he can only play one position on the field. Surprises me they kept him and not Hiku, who could have played FB. Too late now though. I suspect Griffin will select Moylan in the 21 here if he is anywhere near fit and only use him if the Cowboys win.

Eisenhuth is backrower who play can also play centre. Solid defensive centre but not close to a fullback & has been playing most of the year in Ron Massey as a backrower/centre. I'd imagine there are 5 or 6 options before he is even thought of as an option.

Is Jerome Luai injured?

No. He's been in fantastic form lately, and if I were selecting the team, he'd be my choice. DWZ scares me.
