Graham Bonnett was a solo artist who was a one hit wonder with a song called Warm Ride.
He then moved on to Rainbow and from there joined Alcatrazz with Malmsteen. 2 massive egos who wanted to be front men was never going to work. After that he joined the Michael Schenker Group (MSG). More conflict followed. Apparently he's a difficult man to work with. I don't know what happened to him after that.
You're entitled to your opinion. Everyone has different tastes. I haven't really sat down and heard Impellitteri. An unusual surname. Recommend some songs and I'll see if I can down load some of it.
EG-just to clear it up, i wasn't bagging Malmsteen, just not my style.....i didn't know Bonnett had much of an ego....well i do know that Bonnett hooked up with Impellitteri in 2001/2002 to create System X.....a pretty hard hitting yet disappointing effort in my mind.....songs about 9-11, violence etc - but no damn rhyming in the songs...what the hell was with that? Think a more riff based and more commercial Malmsteen
Here's a link for some Impellitteri songs....not the greatest of quality but easier than downloading........
Kingdom Fighter
Goodnight and Goodbye (Bonnett on Vox)
Stand In Line (Bonnett on Vox)
The King is Rising (Poor live audio stream though)
Shed Your Blood
Although i don't really recommend these tracks highly, they are above average nonetheless....this is an example of what Bonnett has been up to lately....
Perfect Crime
Slow Kill
You would have to listen, above all, if you listen to none of the others, to Fly Away and Fuel for the Fire even though you might have to dload them
