It’s an interesting thought. It’ll depend on their contracts I guess. Players have clauses in theirs these days as they get up to too much off-field shit nowadays. Alfie would have a standard workplace agreement since he’s staff. He’d need three warnings, wouldn’t he? Broncos could argue it’s not a like-for-like case.

It’ll be interesting as precedents don’t seem to matter in the NRL. We’ve always had inconsistent penalties.
