Panthers sack Griffin 4 weeks from finals

Hope not. I actually like Penrith and wouldn't want to start hating them all of a sudden. And let's face it, putting a withered old scarecrow in the coaching box is only marginally better than Anthony Griffin.

The chances of Bennett agreeing to work under Gould seems about a million to one to me. Don’t think Ennis thought it through properly

What in the actual fork is a Benjamin Garcia??? Perpignan, is that an alcoholic beverage that has the effect of making you surrender?

French dude who was at the Panthers in 2016. Played NSW Cup, and may have been in the NRL squad that year.

This has come as a surprise.Alas,no doubt the players have had enough of Griffin. And if this is the case, the Panthers should improve out of sight with Ciraldo at the helm. And BTW,Panthers $1.40 V Titans $3.00. To win the comp,Panthers $10. So no change since the announcement.

This is the most mental thing I have heard since Spain sacked their coach on the eve of the World Cup.
Perhaps it will prove to be a masterstroke as I don’t think Penrith would have won a game in the finals the way they have been playing recently.

Everyone wanted him gone according to Rothfield interview with Gus.

No support from players or other coaching staff at the recent review. He's the reason Moylan wanted out and apparently Cleary refused to sign with him in charge.

Cleary for mine is the real reason this is being done ASAP.

Typical of an arsehole club, in the 8 and they sack their coach.

If it was a player revolution, as a football manager I would have told them to man up, you are supposedly professional players, you little tarts.

If it was Cleary alone, I would have told him, listen Princess there is the front door of the doll house.

Anyway, a merkin club; wouldn't expect anything different.

Think they would've waited until the end of season how they didn't disrupt the season, there coming 5th and with a Dragons side choking Top 4 is likely.. The seasons gone now.

The season's gone anyway because they let 50 in against the Broncos. Season's also gone for Dragons and Warriors who have also let 50 in during 2018.

Good for them
I envy their attitude

Right or wrong, at least their fans know the club is not settling. They’re out here doing whatever they can to win a premiership

I’d love it if my club had that attitude
They do
Fergo
Dugan
Monas
Carney

Luke Philips left but I have heard not because of Griffin
Cleary won't coach there unless he has control, therefore he won't coach there.

Whether Grffin is a good coach or not, personally I don't think has anything to do with his sacking.
All I hear is interference and staff played off against each other by the biggest ego in the game
