At least we had Kaysa Pritchard for the Broncos game and he would have made a massive difference with his defence against the Warriors.

Parra should look at maybe bringing down some Newcastle/Central Coast players before the Roosters begin their massive haul of the players. It seems that a lot of parents aren't happy with the Knights atm and a lot of their best players were trailing with the Central Coast Centurions. A lot of good talent up there with the Knights Harold Matthews winning the comp this year.

Warriors grand final experience definitely showing in this game so far. Lolohea and Lino are playing some good footy as is Nathaniel Roche. Hope next year we take their model into account and play our best 20's that are still eligible a few games in NSW cup but make sure they're still eligible for NYC. We'll have a few players that imo are up to it: Davis, ZDC, TTS, Aloiai, and Fuimaono would do well playing 8-10 games for Wenty.

This can also coincide with some promising SG Ball players playing some NYC.

Warriors just held on there. First team to win from 8th position and they beat 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in consecutive weeks.

Bring back U/23's, the best 18-19 year olds would play in the open age competition if that were brought back in.

Congratulations to Kelepi Tanginoa and Ryan Matterson for their selection in the 2014 Junior Kangaroos. Tanginoa was a nigh certainty for the team when the season kicked off in my opinion but it is a fantastic reward for Matterson after a break out year.

I genuinely wish Kelepi all the best at the Cowboys. There has been plenty of conjecture and discussion over his release but I have always enjoyed watching his whole hearted efforts for our club. I don't mind the Cowboys so while it would hurt if he kicks on to the next level, at least it is for a club I can stomach.

2015 will be an interesting season for Matterson. He is obviously behind Sandow and Norman but just where he stands after that is up in the air. Luke Kelly was rumoured to be staying on at Parra but more recently he has been linked to the ESL while a few weeks ago we were linked to Beau Henry. Depending on how things play out Matterson could find himself as the preferred back up half. I can definitely see him getting solid game time at the Auckland 9s and throughout the trials regardless of how our recruitment pans out.

Could Ryan Matterson be a legitimate replacement for Sandow on the right side in 2016?

Congrats to Ryan Matterson.

And again smart move letting Kelepi go . Should have punted one (or several) of the other nuffies instead.

I reckon if you give Matto another half year in the NSW cup with him being the dominant half for Wenty then he would be ready for first grade. His defence is no problem but I'd like him to work on some of his decisions, a few times I thought he didn't take the best option. But what is great about Matto is his ability to take on the line and the fact that he doesn't try and push the pass like most young halves do.

At least the other numpties have played a whole season without being injured. If Epi gets another long-term injury it will be hard for him to get back.

Was Pauli going that bad???? He did more then enough this season to earn a call up. 17 games in first grade in a side that just missed the 8.

Pretty sure he was picked for the Samoan train-on squad. He'd pick playing for them and potentially getting a spot in the 4Nations rather than playing for the Junior Kangaroos.
