:sarcasm: Probably would have been different if:
a) Kearney stayed (#'academy'), or
b) Roy and 3P were re-elected (#prideandpassion)

The boys were disappointed with the way they finished. We looked good and Brassington kicked some from the sideline and fell away.

Pauli Pauli was solid, Zack Clay had some nice touches.

We definitely lacked a leader in the final 15 minutes, someone who could get the boys up and dig deep.

Sounds like our NRL team, give or take 40 points. Our juniors are highly overrated. Have been for a while.

Now that's what you call a side...

It looks strong doesn't it? And that's with Ualesi and Moeakiola playing NSW Cup.

I've decided I'm following under 20s for the rest of the year. f**k those other merkins.

That's the spirit... :) you won't find any of these merkins running away from a game after they've been tapped on the shoulder!

Cannot be that strong if they got beaten by a mob who were 5 wins out of the eight and were running last on the ladder.

Every team has off nights. Melbourne lost to Parra in first grade last year when we were running last. One game doesn't prove anything.

What a satirical genius, so amazingly funny.

Who needs Chaser, South Park. Family Guy or anything else when we have Barty on our very own forum. How lucky are we???

Yes, but our Under 20s arent close to leading the comp, in fact their closer to last than first.

Pperhaps you're just overrating the younger players we have in the 'academy'. We might have an 'academy', it doesnt mean the players in it are that special

Don't forget our NYC cup leaders weren't playing:

Pritchard
Paulo
Kelepi
Frazier

- that is a pretty strong group of players. Also the side was missing Takia and Daniel Alvaro.

Just letting you know that:

Tepai M was selected (over the weekend) in the Aus Schoolboys Rugby side at inside centre to play Fiji and NZ. I believe sometime in September before their four nations tour at years end.

Joey Lussick (SB Ball) was selected at halfback in the Aus Schools A team to play against Fiji and NZ in the lead up to the tests against the Aus Schoolboys.

Also heard that the Waratahs coach (Michael Chieka (sic)) was in deep conversation with Tepai before the teams were announced.

Turnstiles Broadhurst is out today, that means that Ethan Tangira isn't dropped from the extended bench but instead comes into the starting team in the centres.

Actually Broadhurst has improved his defence a smidgen in recent times. He still isn't anywhere near competent but there is less jersey-grabbing.

Panthers get some good early metres via some of their big forwards. Penrith crack the halfway line with a tackle to spare and then kick on the fourth.

The ball flirts with the sideline and Makelim is forced to run it out.

Penrith scrum 10m out from our line.

Fantastic tackle by Jordan Grant on the halfback Evans to force an error.

Parra scrum 10m out from out line.

Oooh...Penrith challenge the call.
