Lavaka goes some way towards redeeming himself for his earlier shocker with a great, bullocking run that earns a penalty.

Pauli Pauli gets a nice offload away but we don't have much chance to progress the play as Penrith wrap Vescio up.

Brassington puts in a very clever kick, wrong-footing the fullback as he drags the grubber back towards the posts.

The Penrith fullback recovers and just manages to ground the ball with the Parra chasers closing in.

Parra are telegraphing their second man plays down the left and Penrith smash Makelim with a good jam.

Gorman's grubber is too heavy on the last and rolls dead and then Penrith make 20m off the tap restart.

Phoah...hint of a forward pass there from Penrith in the ruck there!

They get away with it and attack our left edge on our goal line. They grubber it from dummy half on the last, there is an awkward deflection from a Parra hand which sets it up perfectly for the Penrith chaser and they score 10m to side of the sticks.

The conversion is good.

Penrith have punished us with limited chances, where as we haven't converted any of our ample chances. You can't do that against a top side like Penrith if you want to win.

And now we give away a penalty! It is going to be tough to hold on here.

Toutai does well to shut down a 2-on-1 with a quick jam.

Vescio fields the ball from the kick before Lavaka gives our set some impetus with a good carry.

Parra run it on the last through Folau who is well marked but manages to get an offload away.

There is a suggestion of a Penrith hand touching the ball but the ref doesn't call six again. Tui Kamikamica ends up with the ball and runs in centrefield where he is tackled for the turnover.

A very good run from Tui now as he rucks it up the middle, taking 15 odd metres from Penrith.

Big penalty here for Parra! The Panthers give away a penalty at the end of the Paramatta set.

Not bad there from Parra as Ualesi links up with Diamond Charlie with a nice short ball, the Penrith defence is on point though and mark up on Charlie.

Matterson calls for the ball on the left but the execution isn't there with the pass and we lose the ball.

Penrith scrum 10m out from their line.

Oohh man. Lavaka mistimes his jump and misses the ball completely as the Penrith chasers then knock it on for a change over. That was a dangerous situation.

Parra make some good metres up the middle and then look to Ualesi for a big carry but he ends up turning the ball over with a loose offload.

Penrith then earn a penalty as Ualesi is at fault in the ruck which will take them well inside our half.

And now there is finally some weak goal line defence as we are lazy marking a simple inside pass and the Penrith runner fights through four would-be defenders to plant the ball over the try line.

It is worth mentioning that Penrith have a DAMN good NYC squad this year. Even though they are missing 4-5 stars in their team they are still looking to give us a hiding.

Makelim fields the ball on our goal line and runs it to 13m out from our try line.

Matterson makes a decent run towards the right edge and is backed up by a good carry from Kamikamica.

Pauli Pauli gets the ball with some momentum and he makes metres before forcing an offload that is taken by a Penrith defender.
