Good pressure from Kamikamica to make a nice tackle.

Oh Penrith with some luck here! There are calls from different officials are to whether it was six again or not but the main ref says six again as they regather a grubber kick that is kicked straight into a defender.

Folau makes a tremendous tackle on the next play but with Folau involved in the tackle Penrith show some awareness to attack our right edge where they shockingly find us a man short as their winger crosses in the corner.

Gee a few calls have gone against them but they have been their own worst enemies.

Tui has looked pretty good since he come on, is he the Fijian kid everyone was chasing???

Better set of defence from Parra for this set but Makelim can't track down the kick on the full and we are forced to work it out.

Toutai chips it centrefield as the half time siren rings out but it is cleaned up by the Penrith halfback who backtracks to the sideline to finish the first half.

Half Time

Parra 0 - Penrith 22

He has looked good. So has Pauli Pauli and The 13. Mistakes and wrong options are killing us, just like first grade.

There are a few duds in our team but in general our 20's are better than this. Soft mistakes and our inability to convert pressure is hurting us.

However, the Penrith team is a superb squad...make no doubt about that.

Ualesi is actually having a quiet game by his standards but he is still looking dangerous in limited chances.

I'm pleased to see Tui do well as he adapts to rugby league. He looks to be a good prospect to nurture of the next year or so.

Yeah not real good, Lavaka looks lazy, the halves not creative enough devoid of skill. Standing to deep Gounod side to side they make it so easy for the Defence. Poorly coached.

Agree with all of this, Falou and Toutai have been wasted out there.

We have definitely committed too many resources to attacking down our left edge when Folau and Toutai have looked the most likely out on the right.

Disappointing to see Lavaka's defensive effort today as he has done better than that prior to today. He is a powerhouse runner and if someone drills the hunger and desperation into him he could be one worth keeping.

Parra spread the ball early to Folau who makes a decent run.

Brassington gets his kick away under heavy pressure but it is cleaned up easily by the Penrith back three.

Makelim is well positioned to take the Penrith grubber and make a handful of metres.

Penrith defend well this set and end up forcing a mistake/stripping the ball near halfway.

They immediately go on the attack down our left edge and find a gap between Matterson and Ualesi to score a try out wide.

Not sure how that wasn't a penalty as the offside Penrith chaser was within 10m of the ball landing/getting caught.

Either way Makelim takes a decent catch and Parra ruck it out.

Matterson's kick catches a deflection off a Penrith defender on that last and it skews out the back to be picked up by Penrith.
