Matterson throws a horrible ball that should be called forward but the ref comes back for the offside advantage.

Folau tries to link up with Toutai with a flick ball to put him over but it comes out messily with a deflection off a Penrith defender and ends up ingoals.

We look to have secured another drop out but Folau nails the runner with a shoulder charge and gives away a penalty.

Makelim shadows the ball as it comfortably runs dead in goals for a 20m restart.

Brassington finally sparks something! He gets the ball at first receiver on the last as the Penrith defenders jam in on him. He beats the rush and heads back towards the posts where he links up with Dockar-Clay who does well to back him up and score the try!

Brassington gets a conversion to his name, along with his try assist.

Dockar-Clay threatens around the ruck but his offload goes astray and we loses 10m.

Brassington goes high on the last but it is too deep for the chasers and Penrith secure the ball with ease.

I'm not sure if Makelim had a foot ingoals there! Lucky call to get a 20m restart but we will take anything we can get at the moment.

Folau goes close to getting bundled into touch but has the ball stolen from him by Kamikamica to keep the ball alive.

Brassington gets the ball on the last and bombs towards our left edge, hunting for Lavaka.

He finds him as Lavaka leaps up with one hand and manages to bat the ball down to himself to score out wide.

We have certainly lifted but Penrith have slipped back into second gear here, in my opinion.

Some big metres up for grabs here Parra as Pauli, Folau and Tui all give us some good service.

Brassington is too heavy on the last with his kick and it is carefully watched by the Panthers fullback as it runs dead ingoals.

Huzzah! Toutai defuses a bomb! It was a good take by Vai, with two Penrith chasers also in the mix.

Mauala makes a decent run centrefield but goes down with a cramp after.

Matterson puts in a poor kick on the last and it is taken on the full by the Penrith fullback.

Parra now concede a penalty for a hand on the ball.

Clay is left reeling on the deck as he gets caught one-on-one with a barnstorming Penrith forward. He barrels over Clay and then beats the cover defence to score next to the posts.

The conversion is good.

Penrith have marched from end-to-end this set. They bomb Lavaka on the last and contest his leap with two chasers. Lavaka comes down with it but the ref finds a Penrith knock on in there somewhere.

We generate some good speed as we ruck it out and end up with a penalty for a defender laying on the runner.

Some decent second phase interchanges between Pauli, Folau and Toutai see us go close but Penrith scramble too well.

Brassington kicks for himself on the last but Penrith are awake to it and end up with the ball.

Penrith goes fishing for a 40/20 but it doesn't have the angle and Lavaka works it back out from our 10m.

Brassington kicks for Makelim on the last but it is far too heavy and the Penrith fullback gets there with an age to spare.
