Are they the best forwards though? Gillett is one of the worst in the NRL in missed tackles, and Hannant hasn't played since we beat them.
I agree Thaiday is one of the best forwards in the game but he is stuck in the front row this year, where he is easily contained.
Matt Scott.
James Tamou.
Tariq Sims.
Jason Taumololo.
Gavin Cooper.
Scott Bolton.
Glen Hall.
That's not a bad forward pack.
Gilletts missed tackle percentage rate is only around 10% though, which seems to be a pretty could percentage compared to most forwards out there.
Poo Poo, you wont listen old china - there are better players running around in park football (20 and under) then your current u20s squad. Your scouts and selectors have no idea.
So why haven't any other clubs picked them up?
Or do you still think the Eels are the only club that scouts the kids in the area?

That's why several of the opening U20 squad have played 1st grade / Wenty.......and the team is just outside the top 8
Granted, we do have players like Connor Broadhurst, but he drives the team bus so he can't be left out.
Would you like to name the u20 park players who are clearly superior?
Who is the worst?
Don't know that sitting 12th on the ladder is just outside the top 8.
The majority of clubs have had some of their U20s playing in the NSW Cup and NRL in the same numbers as Parramatta; it is a lame excuse.
I wont name players, so as not to embarrass anyone.
The game is all about ruck speed these days.

Can't answer that one but i know there are 20s and under in A and C grade who are better natural footballers.
Mate, I believe you. The thing is, the NYC is about identifying potential NRL players, not finding guys who will win under 20s matches.
That means size, speed and attitude are more important than 'natural football' ability.
i'd probably like us to identify natural ability too
Poupou would know mate.
