must be, all good Hiney, If it wasn't snarky, my apologies, I retract by snarky response..Sarcasm detector got the night off Ash???
No probs mate, the new changes are just what the club needs. Max is a bloody marvel. The factions are finally f**kedmust be, all good Hiney, If it wasn't snarky, my apologies, I retract by snarky response..
I think that's a fairly common strategy.- sucking the assets out of a failing company and passing the debts along to whomever.Maybe. But hasn't he failed by the very definition, with many businesses he's been involved in ending up owing more money than they had and in administration?
I don't think any businessperson wants the ATO to think they had much "success".Yes, but by definition it makes him a failed businessman. His reported tax income for his businesses certainly don't indicate "success" as per previous Kate McClymot articles.
Before you get all triumphant, don't forget he wasn't Robinson Crusoe. He certainly helped undermine the most recent board but his own time in charge was characterised by the same type of white-anting by the previous faction. He was paying back (or forward) the bullshit he copped, though if he loved the club he and his cronies wouldn't have been so f**king vindictive. The good thing about the new governance document (the 11 page attachment to the link to the league club website article) is that anyone who had been a director prior to Max is not considered independent, and not entitled to become involved again.
See ya later Roy! The cause of all of this mess and the destruction of the Football Club as an entity is finally banished!
I posted that article days ago Gronk. Get with the program.
How good is it that Mad Max wants to stay on as Chairman or even just Director after his paid position ceases.

Does that mean Fitzy would still be eligible to nominate?Yes, but by definition it makes him a failed businessman. His reported tax income for his businesses certainly don't indicate "success" as per previous Kate McClymot articles.

Has fitzy ever had his sights on being a board member? I think he likes the more lucrative executive postions
