However, I reckon most people would argue that their health and the health of their family is the most important thing in the world.

More important than the fortunes of a bunch of people running around on a patch of unnaturally green grass.

They'd put down a floor over the grass, and have seats around it.
Would be terrible viewing unless you are up in the first couple of rows. If you are in the stands you would be so far back it's not even worth going.

Pretty much, yeah.
You'd be watching almost all of it on the big screen, so may as well stay home and watch it.
I think it's bad enough watching Rugby League matches on massive grounds like that. I can't imagine how much worse it would be for a basketball game or boxing match.
They have had ice hockey games in big stadiums like that - you'd never be able to see the puck. Some sports are just made for small stadiums.
