Gents - why don't we keep this thread about the exciting new stadium development - rather than a shitfight about the supposed future of the Parramatta CBD !
You're a bit late. We've largely finished our discussion.

But if something else slightly related comes up that I feel inclined to chat to my mate Bart about, I will.

Soz.

I'd say it is exactly like Detroit, except for the fact that Parramatta's rise hasn't coincided with the automobile industry which then moved elsewhere, they haven't lost jobs to outer suburbs, there hasn't been a massive freeway constructed through the middle of the city and they haven't had major riots and simmering racial tensions between African Americans and white people.

Apart from those few minor differences Parramatta is just another Detroit waiting to happen. The impending sense of urban decay is palpable....

There will be organ harvesting among the decrepit population by 2025, no doubt.

Because Phart will then have to find another thread to be an antagonist prick about anything suity shows interest in
Lol, another one fooled by Suity's past squeals amd PMs.

I like soccer, just not the Wanderers.
I like our stadium upgrade, just not safe standing.
I like government funded infrastructure (stadiums), but don't want to give Mike Baird a blow job as a result.
I like sustainable urban renewal alongside planned social infrastructure, but don't like rampant 50+ storey residential tower approvals with developers gauging the opportunity cost for local commumities to make their profits.

Having an opinion is hardly being an antagonist.

I can't help it if Suity is passionate about certain elements of the above shared interests with which I disagree.

This is between Bart and Suity - not sure why you are getting involved !!

Well, it appears that one of Australia's largest banks doesn't think Parramatta is going to become a slum either..................
They will be taking the whole tenancy of the building in Parramatta Town Square.. Could have been some more customers for City Extra, if they hadn't of run their own business into the ground. Losing all those shady underworld characters has really cost them.
