This is true. Rep teams are a different kettle of fish. It's about getting the best out of a group of very good players in a short space of time. Meninga has shown he is a crap NRL coach but a good rep coach , exactly like Kearney

I think we'd probably be better off with Potter, for the simple fact that he hasn't failed yet. Therefore his reputation is still intact.

I tend to agree - if we let him go elsewhere if he returns to NRL, then it will be an opportunity missed.

A lot of people believe that we we did an even better run home in 2009 that it had nothing to do with the coach.... and we now have C Anderson in the joint too, so I don't think there'll be much mind changing about Kearney going on.
