I wonder how long till the guy who took the vid gets dox'd. The internet has a way of handing out justice that is both swift and ironic.

Chook.

What heck is going on at this club?
Nat miles incidents
Kennedy issue
Pearce issue
SKD issue
The list goes on and on.
Have I missed any other issue ?
No discipline on the field and no discipline off the field
Who is running this asylum?

list 'goes on and on' yet you are asking if you have missed anything after naming 4 incidents.

You are an imbecile.

Within a day or two after the story broke he had been publicly identified, together with his occupation and workplace.

 I hope they got the right guy? If ever there was a disincentive to publically shame someone it's that the internet will do it right back at ya. The net works by the rule "people in glass houses..."

Chook.

Acting like an idiot, simulating bestiality is worse than DUI ?

NRL allowed Tamou and Carter to receive 2 match suspensions and $20,000 fines for DUI.

As far as a incident goes it seemed to me just a act of high level stupidity and nothing more. In saying that, the way he was whisked out of the country in a flash makes me think something more sinister occurred. I get the feeling the club and possibly the NRL wanted him out of sight and far away ASAP, the question has to be asked why

maybe he took cocaine and they wanted him out of the country so he wouldn't be tested

I realise you hate Easts but that scenario is very, very unlikely. The guy has suffered massive public humiliation and I hope people don't start spreading these sorts of stories around. A lot of people do dumb things when they have been drunk and haven't been videoed. Let's all move on.

As unlikely as we would like it to be... after what was written in the text, it is unfortunately going to be a stain hanging over him (rightly or wrongly). Methinks it would have been prudent for Easts and or the league administration to test him in order to put the rumor to rest?

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't that txt with the 'liney lines' surface after he (Pearce) had left the country.

I was of the belief that both the NRL and the Roosters were aware of it well before it was released by the media? That's what was reported at the time.

Coke is like alcohol isn't it? That is, once the effect is gone, it isn't detected in tests. So it would not have shown up from Australia Day anyway.

Depends on what test is administered. Hair sample drug test would show if there has been any use within 90 days. Blood and saliva tests show much shorter windows of use.

Under NRL rules, clubs are prevented from doing their own in house drug testing. This is because it is thought it may see clubs let players off who may be found out. That is why the ARLC are cracking down on the Panthers.

It's looking more and more likely he'll miss the first 6 rounds and cop a 50k fine (or something like this) No dramas with whatever is dished out although it will be interesting if the Roosters decide to go down the path of suing whoever profited in all of this, and the decision is in our favour. Without realising it it could have the effect of players knowing they have impunity the next time some f**ker films them doing unsavoury acts. Back to square one.
