The disrespectful way he treated his host was an utter disgrace in himself and his club.

What sort of a human being would act like that, going into another persons home and pissing, swearing, disrespecting what an obnoxious full of himself low life, the Roosters have to sack him, not for the silly little dog moment, but for the way he carried on and held himself, you dont want that sort of a bloke at your club, not even as a mate, hes a low life.

His 'mates' there should have pulled him aside if they had any self respect or respect for him, they needed to step in, and told him to pull his head in, if a bloke carried on like that at my house id knock him out.

Ive gone from not rating him as a footy player to not rating him as a Human being, being drunk or on drugs is no excuse to act like that.

And that the Roosters would choose somebody like that, who has always been like that as their captain and pay him a wage is an absolute disgrace to the game.

Its blokes like Mitch that drive away young kids from the game because when their parents are deciding if they are going to let little johnny play RL, they see that and thats enough to change their opinion, the game is damaged greatly with this sort of stuff, and this guys a repeat offender, the NRL need to deregister this bloke ASAP for at least 12 months for the damaged he has cause.

I feel for roosters fans, even they dont deserve this garbage.

Father Wayne was no genius, but he was the ultimate pro, role model and gentleman. How could he have a kid that is such a moron. Maybe its time to have a DNA done

At this point you'd think it would be standard cub policy to present all young recruits with a video montage of all the f**k ups that have had their careers hammered because they were morons on the piss.

The vast majority behave themselves, some players are always going to stuff up and the modern players a much better behaved than players from the 60s and 70s. Back then there were no i phones.

I have never met Wayne or his son Mitch but I can't help but think that Mitchell hates being compared to his father. They are completely different people.

You've got that right. Wayne has a brain in his head and lives a clean and healthy life-style without ever feeling the need to wipe himself out and carry on like a f**kwhit.

Mitchell obviously has talent, but in temperament, intelligence and attitude, the apple has fallen VERY far from the tree.

The sad thing is, he ought to WANT to be compared to his dad, a bloke famous for his brilliant footy career, but also positive approach to life and commitment to good health. The bloke was so respected he was given an Order of Australia FFS.

What I am hearing is they are going to take the soft option (imo) with him. Suspend him for about 6-8 matches, fine him and strip him of the captaincy and get him to stay off the grog. Possibly a clause inserted into his contract that if he f**ks up again he is gonnne!

I wanted him sacked yesterday but I am in 2 minds about it now.

I've read quite a few forums and articles and by the looks of it, a majority of Roosters fans want him sacked and are tired of his shit.

Short term pain, long term gain as it would be.

I'm not too sure what the punishment should be though.

Don't get me wrong, i'd love an NRL without Mitchell Pearce. Hate the merkin. Always have, always will.

But realistically, does a fine, strip of captaincy and a few rounds off really help him?

Does sacking him for good help him too?

Honestly, I think there needs to be an inbetween, however that turns out, I have no clue, so it'll be interesting to see what the Roosters and the NRL do. I just hope the punishment isn't weak.

I think the ideal inbetween would be for us to do what we did with Jake Friend and get Finch working in a real job for 12 months, but with him off contract in 2017 there's not much benefit for the club itself.

All the same, it might be the best thing for Pearce, because 26 is too old for him to be carrying on like that...
