most of the bad sh*t is coming from New Zealand Media.
Carl, i'd much rather a respected and the best ankle Surgeon in Australia take care of me than some All Blacks doctor.
bloody hell the hell do they get a tony pulutua lookalike on the tv and someone that speaks like him.
ps. damn the was the worse game ever that i have played in NSL!
carlnz said:Big Mick said:What does Mark Geyer's comments have to do with anything doug?
Seriously?
He talks out is ass like you!
His comments again are unrealistic, so he is saying they have picked a reserve grade team meaning the Panthers players are reserve grade players

This quote says it all. He is on Penriths payroll, His first responsiblity is to them. Playing for NZ is an honour, but one he will have to miss this year, so he can be fit to play next year.
Big Mick said:Carl I care about my teams Players welfares.
I can about the World Game, just like anyone else.
I trust a professional ankle surgeon who says that if he plays he could sustain longer injury and long term recovery.
I want my players fit and if that means missing a tour, so be it.

He was advised by the best Ankle surgeon in Australia to have it done immediately or risk an early retirement. He's 25. Retirement at that age would more fearful over anything else and is most likely the reason he is reluctantly decided to have surgery on Nov. 21.
Now you are talking sh*t maybe you should delete that!!
They said their was no risk of the injury getting worse if managed probaly...

I am speaking sense Carl. The only reason you would like me to delete it is because it is more realistic than anything you are saying at the moment. You are being too emotional on all this and you are not taking into consideration, like New Zealand, the players long term well being. I watched him on the news tonight. I wonder why they are not interviewing him over his thoughts on this? The answer to all of our questions is with that.

Thank god we have clubs like Brisbane, Canberra, Wests, and Newcastle that care about the game Internationaly, unlike the Panthers and Roosters.
carlnz said:Why do you think he wont talk on camera!!
If he says he still wants to go then Penrith will fine him big time, if he says no I better go back and have the operation the Kiwi fans will think he doesnt care about country but his club.
If the D was up to Tony, why did Penrith come out and say that if he goes he will be taken to court and fined bluh bluh bluh..

Is this what you kiwi's want for one of your international boys??? I know I don't wnat that to happen to one of my Panther boys. It is a risk. Look at Marty Lang. He had to retire due to a chronic ankle injury. If T doesn't have this operation he may have to cut his career short just as Marty did. Marty is only 29, Girds kept going til he reached 32 and there have been others that have played well into their 30's. I'm sorry but T is too good a player to have an early retirement forced upon him just becasue NZRL wanted him to play in a test match when he was 25.
