Yep

Penrith cut him because of his attitude, parramatta cut Tupou because he "wasn't good enough" just like they did with Jason Cayless :D

attitude that did not warrant 800k a season even a rooster could see there is not that value there in any player other than thurston sbw smith or slater

It was actually NZ rugby that gifted them with that premiership, lets see how well Jennings and Maloney do next year without $BW putting them into the holes that created.

I have nothing against Penrith releasing Jennings it was warranted...

But his stupid speech thanking the panthers was pathetic...

Couldn't agree more. I along with many panthers fans wished him well and to carry on like that was not on. Belter.

He enjoyed having classy offloading forwards and a competent halves combination to help give him decent ball... I'm not that fond of him now but the Panthers have moved on and looking like a club on the improve.

Also how many Easts juniors were in that side last night?

Pfft genius. Of the top 8 sides the Roosters had more players that had debut for the club than any other. Keep recycling the same old boring cliche and use your brain you whinger

where do you get those figures from.Considering the injury tolls at the the tigers and panthers they used more players than the roosters over the year

fittler was not punted he left when penrith went super league and he stayed arl as for jennings he needed a club change he by his own admission was not fully putting in before he went
penrith supporters wish jenko the best and have no problems with him going well
Fittler signed an ARL loyalty contract, and when he was in camp for a test, Penrith jumped - without even consulting him. Their jump put him in breach of contract if he stayed. Legally, he had to go. Amos Roberts and Gary Freeman were in the same boat.

fittler knew exactly what was going on.It was well reported he wanted to go to gould at the roosters. He was approached by super league as was every contracted penrith player .He choose to stay ARL

As did Penrith originally. Yet, some weeks later, Penrith suddenly jumped. There was a meeting with players after training, but they forgot/were too stupid to inform players in rep camps!

Freddy didnt just want to join Gus at the Roosters you gimp. He debated for ages between Easts and Manly - I think he was dating Bob Fulton's daughter at the time.

debut does not mean juniors it just means more money spent on imports

Compare the size of the respective catchment areas, teams like Penrith have catchment area about 10 times that of the roosters, means teams like the roosters have to be that much more pro active with their scouting and work much harder in identifying talent. Besides paying big money for a young bloke doesn't guarantee they'll be good, for every Boyd Cordner there's 5 Greg Waddells.
