Interesting that Charlie was run down rather easily by the Jets number 6. He seemed to burst out of the blocks then just ran out of steam about 40m out from the line.. feeling he may have lost a little speed..
Only just watched the highlights, maybe he slowed down, to allow for his support player to catch up.

Having seen Charlie around the NRL side for a season or two now just perhaps he doesn’t possess the explosive or speed over the longer distances we thought he did. Still quick, just not sub 11 seconds over the hundred .

I was rather astonished when we played the Cowboys a couple of weeks back when Tago came from no where to run down Holmes.

When the Fox scored that 80 metre try against us a couple of weeks of a Burton kick I was surprised by Dylan’s chase which kept Ado Carr from running around under posts. He’s not a noted speedster, but did a good job.

I don’t think we have a genuine speedster in the young Michael Jennings, vintage Rhys Wesser or Amos Roberts (one season only) but all our back five are serviceable even if none are genuine speedsters.

Whats your thought on Longi and what is his best position?

Isaiah is very very quick and has a go. Unfortunately QLD U19 had a a really poor showing from some of the bigger names so was hard to stand out. They even moved him to hooker late in the game.

Fullback is his position atleast until he bulks up
Fullback is the position you can cover being small more than any other. Look at Paps the smallest guy in the NRL. He wouldn't work on the wing where guys like To'o can pick him up and throw him into touch. It's because he lurks around tired forwards and doesn't defend in the line that makes him effective.

Edwards is a good example of a guy that doesn't have the explosive acceleration or 40m pace but he'd be up there across 100m with some of the more noted speedsters.

I don't think Critter would get run down either if he got into the open.

I hope he works on his acceleration in the off season, against the Warriors he got early ball and one on one with his opposite in our own half and didn't seem to know what to do.

Two big games against the Roosters on Friday night. Flegg could be tough against the high flying Roosters while the NSW Cup equally tough game. Hoping to get down to watch all three if I can.

Do the likes of Rjenn Sunia Falls SOS Soni CSmith & Eiso play this week in Cup?

Will the game go ahead at Windsor with this weather? My ideal is the games played at Bluebet following Members Day in the morning and give the 2 teams Flegg & Cup a good crowd.

I'd even put Spencer and Salmon down too for match fitness.

Windsor is pretty good drainage and should be fine with little rain expected later in the week

Agree on Salmon & Leniu. You reckon others will play? Can ppl still get to Windsor with all the rain in Syd?

Not Kenny and Sorensen maybe.

Yeah the Ground is well away from water so won't flood. The rain is meant to stop today for the rest of the week so it should be fine

That members training is a strange choice. 7 guys in Origin and NSW Cup playing on the day

This is what makes me think the guys I listed above wont play. Theyll be starting to prepare for WT game otherwise therell only be 8-10 blokes at members day. My tip is WT game is priority and the team who plays will be all training this Sat. Our Cup side wont have any of the above mentioned ie RJ Soni CS Eiso Turava SOS Falls.

The issue before was NSW Cup playing away on Sunday. Having a 2 hour bus trip back into playing the Friday night.

This case it is 8 days after and a few guys need some gametime

They did it before Origin 1 and everyone backed up. The wrong players are resting
