It's good to have our back up halves have a few games in a row in case needed and the guys who had good game time got belted on Wednesday. Players will want to play out of pride and competitiveness especially after a loss regardless of their body, they can't be given the decision.

I'm probably the biggest cheerleader for player welfare here but that Crichton tackle was just a great tackle.

We can afford to use a depleted side with a chance at victory still. There's no better time to rest guys.

We might be 2 wins clear still with 3 or 4 weeks to go and decide to rest a couple again. But right now there's no reason to send out a full strength roster. More to lose than we have to gain.

It's pretty sad how often that happens these days. Tackles penalised for being too good/hard.
