After Origin you don’t have to rest everyone all at once.
Injuries can happen in a game or at training though.I wonder the reaction if an Origin guy goes down injured after backing up

In general. The Origin guys will barely train in this period also

Meh. We have real football to play in SeptemberI wonder the reaction if we lose to Newcastle on Sunday.
So you would be comfortable with a loss on Sunday?Meh. We have real football to play in September
So you would be comfortable with a loss on Sunday?
But losing in June can impact your season later, especially against lesser teams when you expected to win. It's not the grandfinal. There is a game the following week. It won't change Penrith's place on the nrl ladder.
Seriously trophies aren't won in June.
Yep fine with itSo you would be comfortable with a loss on Sunday?

So just say we lose on Sunday because we decide we rest all the Origin players, then we miss a top 2 finish because we lost to Newcastle? My point all along is we need to win the games against the weaker teams, not just rest players and be happy with a loss.Yep fine with it

Do you know how the final system works. It sounds like you don't.
One doesn't NEED a top 2 finish to win the trophy. It can be won from 8th on the ladder actually.
Yes I am clear how the Finals system works. If finishing top 2 isn’t important why does everyone strive for it. It makes it a hell of a lot easier that’s for sure.Do you know how the final system works. It sounds like you don't.

Not a troll mate..Top 2 helps us not leave the State in the Finals but full strength no one will beat us. Simple as that
The poster is clearly a troll BUT the assumption that those teams chasing us won't also drop games is just dumb.
Cows in particular have already ruled 2/3 Origin guys out.
Storm are missing Coates. Against a desperate Roosters team
