Good entertaining stuff. Momarovski is good for the first shot at cementing that centre position. I'm not convinced Staines will prove to be a better option on the wing than Naden, but we'll see. Really not a believer in Eisenhuth.

Edward’s deserves to hold his spot but in this squad, he’d be right under pressure.

It'll take quite a few more of those to put him under pressure especially with Staines dropping one as well.

Hopgood definitely impressed. I’d be happy to see him off the bench at some stage.

Our outside back options look good. Momirovski looked really good defensively, he and Staines shut down that side all night.

Edwards had the highest bomb defusal percentage of any fullback last year. He's banked a few credits with the way he played last year at in regards to his catching.

Agreed but you’d think with the depth we have in the outside back positions he would be the most at chance of possibly losing his spot. He was epic for us last season though and it was probably just a bit of off season rust so I’m sure he will be fine come round 1!

He wasn't allowed to play the reserve grade trial last week because he'd played over 12 games last year. Suspended players are now allowed to play trials, they were saying Thompson was eligible for the Dogs but he was injured.
