Cleary going into bat for his mate on his Instagram story... right after his mate got sacked for posting on Instagram...

It's his childhood mate, nothing particularly to see here. However, if he's 'got him', I would imagine he's also got his phone number so could just call to express this. Either way, whatever. May deserved to be f**ked off and has, so all is well.

It seems nobody likes the fact that Penrith are winning. The media seem to blow every little or large indiscretion into major scandals.
It seems that if it doesn’t involve Penrith then it isn’t news.
They really don’t deserve the treatment they are getting.

Nathan posted he had a friends back no matter what. (Ie. A message of support).

Tyrone May played the victim and threw the grand final win in the face of everyone who was against him committing sex crimes as if it somehow justified what he did. A hateful message and a big f**k you to everyone.

But yeah. Same thing. How dare a player publicly declare he has his friends back no matter what

To be fair, May deserved everything he got.
He probably should have gone to gaol and definitely should have been kicked out of the game for his little sexcapade. And if he's dumb enough to rub it in people's faces after a grand final win...

Just imagine if he played for the Raiders.

Media do seem to have it in for Panthers since winning, tall poppy or is there something afoot?

IMO the media storm would have happened to whoever won this year to fill five minutes of the 6pm news every night.

The professional Australian RL season finished the moment the final whistle blew in the GF.

Any other year we would have had a test, Kangaroo tour, world cup and last year even an Origin series

This year anything RL related was going to make the news and the only RL related thing is a bunch of drunk twenty somethings who just won a comp acting like they just won a comp.

May was just an idiot who should have deleted all public facing social media accounts three years ago.

Whose he telling? Surely he could have rung his mate and told him he had his back. Putting sht out to antagonize on social media, yep nothing like each other at all!

Everyone. Its a public showing of support for his friend.

Telling him privately rather than publicly is not showing him he has his back no matter what. It's empty words if he's scared how the dickheads on social media will view a friend expressing support.

Posting it publicly shows he genuinely has his friends back.

But yeah... publicly expressing his support for someone he has been best friends most of his life is definitely a character flaw. A true man would turn his back on his mates and shun him publicly.

I hate Tyrone May but i fully expect these players to have each others backs in both the good times and the bad. If they don't they aren't really friends are they? One day you might get a friend and understand what loyalty is.

I'd argue there is a time and place... Definately not the time for it, the guy just got the boot and it is fully deserved and 100% his doing. It's not like the guy had been wrongfully punished (probably how Tyrone sees it).

The place? It's hard these days because if it isn't communicated via social media, did it even happen? So yeah, I guess this is what the kids do these days but look how easy it is to be on the wrong side of things... Ahem Tik Tok.
