Another scoreless, rudderless performance from the Broncs.

You know you're going badly when you think picking Luke Capewell is a good idea.

6 points is technically not scoreless..

Can't argue with the Capewell thing. Pretty big joke.

There have been injuries to key players ahead of critical games; our most potent attacking player was taken out for the season (at least; he'res hoping he can return to the game at all), we have a rookie coach, there's the prennial post-Origin slump due to how many players we lose to it, and it's the season after one of the game's greatest halves ever has retired while we try to figure out who will succeed him.

Yeah, can't imagine why things are going pear-shaped at the moment.

Being able to keep the same team on the field two weeks running would be a great start. Things have looked better since the Hunt/McCullough experiment was tabled. There is a lot of room for improvement, but this year is pretty clearly not going to be our year.

And the times Parker, Reed, Thaiday, Copley, Hala, McGuire, Hannant, Te'o and Hodges have missed games or played injured this season haven't had any impact on the losses we've accrued?

Manly are the ones who seem to draw no criticism. They are so loose and unstructured compared to last year, they really aren't half as good as they were

Maybe thats just Premiership hangover, but I think its more like Toovey isn't as good a coach as Des was

You were saying?

Every team has had injuries. Only Copley and Hala are out from that lot. Talk about grasping at straws.

Suck eggs Gyngell, ratings are going to plummet when they play like this next year.

Broncos have had a myriad of injuries this season which is concomitant with their position on the ladder and at times woeful form this season. There are so many problems I wouldn't know where to start, but finding a good Halfback would be a good place to begin. We have zero leadership on the field. Sam Thaiday is not a captain, in the same way Peter Wallace is not a play making Halfback.

While Brisbane have at times played poorly this season, they do dig in each week and have a go - mostly - which is a lot more than I can say for teams like Parramatta, who at times this year may aswell have all just sat down and talked about the weather or something.

Their biggest strenth is their front row and teams win comps with good spines. They were always going to struggle when the whips started cracking.

Yep, this has been a tough season to watch through. Even when we were winning, it was barely pretty & it's plain embarrassing watching your team get exposed for the pretenders that they are.

Just another example of a side falling to pieces a year after their legend retires.

I think youve got a better chance at glory in the next 5 years than the Knights did after Joey retired.

Hopefully M2D2.

As far as this season is concerned though, it's quite apparent we're missing Lockyer out there. Has been for awhile really but our forwards were masking our weaknesses. Now that they're all carrying injuries/low on confidence we're just being exposed.

Tough, but happy to suck it up for this club.

This season has gone quite similar to the Knights in 2007 actually, taking away the winning streak at the start of the year that is.

Both teams had scrappy wins here and there, failed to win too many back-to-back, but didnt lose too many in a row at any one time until the end of the season when they both had big losing streaks.

The broncos have a better, more experienced side, albiet youngish, which allowed them to ride the enthusiam at the beginning of the year, but once the grind of the season really kicked in they have been found out a little. I dont think the road back to success will be as long as it has been for the knights though...6 years and counting, with a few glimmers of hope a long the way (2009).
