It’s been addressed in a couple of the threads but hell, let’s have a few pages on it.

This year is a write off. I am ok with that.
What else could be expected with the big five taking up $4 million of cap.
Sj/Aw/Jd/Mm/Af. What a stupid f**king piece of club admin.
That’s the f**kin stitch up right there. Also they are all the same kind of player-flighty and inconsistent. They have packed their bags and good riddance.
Now to my esteemed colleagues who are going on about the board and Morris. It’s done. Time will tell. I back the decision, if it turns out that we f**ked it. So be it, at least they are having a shot at greatness.
But most people in here having a circle jerk over signing Ar after watching one bunnies game then f**king running the bath to get the razors out and flaming the entire squad, it’s comical. Kiss this season good bye, have some perspective about what is trying to be built for the future and SUPPORT the team.
For me the most concerning development from last night does concern Ar(aka: the shabbit.. half rabbit, half shark ..destroyer of worlds.side note ..I watch bunnies games since my best buddy is a fan).
Anyway, I’d be watching Chad on 800 k and be asking for 1 mill, not the same money as Chad. That decision in the 5th minute of the second half in a 3 on 2 to pass the ball to Hughes was so dumb. Plus the pass for the first non try when he finally decides to play like a 18yr old... keep running son.. then the ball looks like it went back .

I’m all for the opposite position. I like the stance Quicksilver has taken, livens up the place . Some of the pile on in the game day thread went a bit too far.

Reminds me of the old days..
Sack everyone.
Bahahaha.

SR I agree, I’m not going to argue my position anymore. I’m going to sit back and watch cos at the end of the next 3 years one group will be right and the other wrong.

Atleast we aren’t stressed over surviving or not which is a nice change.

I know lm alone on this. Ive said it before l would have Matt Moylan. We are better when hes in the side.
He would compliment Reynolds better than SJ.
I like SJ. Hes the most likeable bloke in the comp but success does not follow him.
I wouldnt resign him. At any price - let alone anywhere near what he thinks hes worth.

Moylan has the hands. He attacks the line. He is very good at creating the extra man blah blah.
I dont us to be the warriors.
Finally working out after too many years SJ doesnt win you big games

I agree somewhat, the thing with QS is he, or she, takes the opposing view on every topic that isn't the majority, which is fine to give some balance.
Like I said last night, it's just getting too obvious. His, or hers, "stance" on this would be anti-Bomber if this place was pro. Makes it hard to believe there is any passion there except to be obtrusive.
Kind of like how Reefy used to be haha.

I'm going to give my perspective on where everything really went wrong in this whole coaching theatre act, some will not like what I'm about to say at all.
Management were doing a great job in hiding the Bellamy talks, the fact is it was only found out when Bellamy himself told Rothfield that there was a Sydney club also in the mix for his services. Firebombs went off in Buzz's head and he went on the charge. Low and behold it was the very team he goes for that had been vying for the services of Bellyache.

I feel that Bellamy did this intentionally, for whatever angle he was gunning for.

This finding out by Buzz is where the club really f**ked up.
As much as we all hate the bloke, he can be used to suit an agenda.
If the management had quietly taken Sloth under their wing and given him any "exclusive" I can guarantee you that his vitriol against the club these last couple of months would not have happened. In fact he would have eased the semi-moron publics angst, made out the club was heading in the right direction and absolutely no outrage would have occurred.
Even the players would have a different attitude right now if it had been handled this way.

Peace.

Oh bbb we CANNOT ever take buzz under our wing again. An absolute germ who has proven he will abuse whatever inside scoops he may get to smash us.

That terrible rag has its MO. One build up, one tear down, create argument, repeat.

Buzz is gonna cry and dig the boot in, but he won’t have credible info to really hurt us, and others in the media will pick up the contrasting view.

For me at least 2 have. I caught up on several old editions of 360 during the week. Old 2021 ones I mean. Kent and Hooper are into him about just about every stupid, muddled thing the rancid old coot says

He’s just poison. Can’t have him anywhere near the joint, at any cost. The stitch up on Damo was like kicking a puppy. Disgusting.

You missed the point.
Once he found out it was on, they were not prepared for what the fool can actually do.
I didn't say bring him in from the start, and never, ever, should they, but once he did find out that is when they should have been smarter when dealing with him.
Freezing him out let him run his own course and create the hysteria that a lot have bought into, and his poison tentacles were able to reach further, and deeper into the public, and the others followed his lead.
Edit: or maybe they should have brought Riccio into the loop so at least Sloth knew it was being handled by someone he works with

Completely agree they need someone to keep a bit close. As you say, maybe a riccio. Also a Walter for even better stuff.

Just cannot cop buzz ever again in any capacity. Betrayed multiple times.

Thats a more than fair point, which I agree on. In this case though he was the actual one who got the scoop, so he was always going to be the leader of it. This is why I am dubious that Bellamy just accidentally let it slip.
