Averaging a paltry 29.75 in ODI Cricket

How long till he is rested/rotated/dropped?

He looks tired. The heavy schedule of actually going to work seems to be hampering him.

Didnt they rest him from the South african test series, didnt want him exposed to the best bowling side in the world

Poor Quiney :D

So basically, if he gets to 4 he gets a hundred.

It's just getting to 4 that seems to be the issue.

Phil Hughes the american baseball player is a little confused by seeing the news mention another Phil Hughes.

Also how good is our Phil Hughes. News of his great play has reached the US.

2nd 100 in 3 days. HAH got 120 for SA against Victoria (the equal Shield comp leaders). His critics will say was it beating up against a nothing attack or on a road well SA's next best score: 28.

@plalor Phil Hughes has 1531 runs: 5x100s at an average of 58.89 across all forms for Australia, South Australia and the Strikers this season.
Seeing as we never waste an oppurtunity to line up and make fun of me when I am wrong can we acknowledge that sometimes I am right. And that what I've been saying about Hughes for months is right, even back when everyone was saying he was shit and would never play Tests again.

Right now noone besides Clarke is matching Hughes's form. He is the 2nd best batsman in Australia.

look at the conditions, oppositions and match situations he has made his runs in and ... oh yeah, none of that means anything to you as you lack any understanding of cricket

Actually I specifically mentioned those two factors in my post. Try reading what I say before mocking it.

He was playing one of the best Shield teams, and his entire team was struggling around him. An important and potentially match saving innings. A lot like his 2nd ODI century.

I did read that post (unfortunately) playing alongside nuffies doesn't say anything other than that the rest of your team are nuffies. Try thinking before posting. South Australia are an ordinary shield side, everyone already knew that

No - you're f**kwit of the highest order goldenrod.

Your grasp of cricket is fragile at best.

Most of us on here like Hughes and want him to succeed, however unlike you we can see the deficiencies in his game.

He will get found out by spin in India and won't have a good time in England on greentops with decent bowlers.

I'm not expecting him to score thousands of runs in England. I reckon none of our batsmen will have a "good time" batting there.

But I do expect him to score a lot in India.

I think he'll do well in England.

He learned a lot last winter on a Worcester green top.
