No player in Australian cricket history has ever been treated as unfairly.

I bet Bevan, Katich, Hodge among others have something to say about that (i.e. players of actual talent).

But in all honesty pulling in Shaun Marsh over Hughes is a clanger of a selection, because he beat up Scotland? I don't think Hughes is a good player but he certainly did enough to stay in this ODI squad.

Marsh must really have something on one of our selectors.

How many chances does this guy get? He consistently does well at first class level but cant make it at international level.

How many times does he have to fail before they can get this in their thick skulls.

Bevan, Katich and Hodge were kept out by some all time greats. Hughes has been kept out by the mediocre likes of Warner and Cowan and Watson and Marsh. In that context he has copped a lot more unfairness.

He has never had an uninterrupted run like a Cowan has. He keeps getting dropped despite showing potential for players who consistently produce even less than him.

Marsh is also a gun T20 cricketer. Always in high demand in the IPL.

I remember roughly about 4-5 years ago, he made three consecutive ODI scores of 70+ against Sri Lanka if memory serves me well and was looking set to have a permanent role as opener in the national team. Then he got injured. After that he had to start all over again.

Kinda like Callum Ferguson. Fergo was never to be seen again in the national team after getting injured even though he performed in every given opportunity.

I rate Marsh in limited overs. Although he has limited footwork, he is a stroke maker and has a nice shape to his batting especially with his cover drives.

BTW hat happened to Peter Forrest?

Forrest had a promising start to his ODI career (two 50s one 100 in his first 4 ODIs) but fell away badly playing 15 ODIs in total averaging 26.28 S/R 65.59

Has an appalling domestic one day record, worse average and S/R than his ODI career

The comment doesn't just come because I'm sick of Bunniesgimp sucking his schlong in every thread.

He needs to be dropped. He's mentally shot, he doesn't have a f**king clue what he's doing out there. He's an attacking batsman trying to play an anchor role because he's lost the confidence to attack. He's not an anchor type of batsman. He's f**king clueless against spin. He needs to go back and work on his game, with time with a psychologist on top of the list.

He has a 40 and a 80 IN THIS SERIES.

He's averaging over 40.

If it was any other player on the planet not a single word what be mentioned about dropping him. Idiots are just trying to troll me and failing.

I meant a word being mentioned about dropping him NOW. Not two years ago.

He is averaging 40 in this series, he is a part of an extremely successful top order right now and people want him dropped. It begins and ends with me being a fan of him. If I hated him you people would be wanting to make him captain.
