Easily the most embarrassing thing he has written.

The NRL's head of integrity Nick Weeks did contact Gallen and informed him of the penalty before making the release.

Gallen has been given 7 days to appeal, so if he wants his say he gets it!

The NRL don't need to interview Gallen to determine if he breached the NRL's code of conduct, thanks to Gallen publicly tweeting it!

Claiming the NRL should have been lenient on him because of Rothfields depression story, which in a disclaimer he claimed was not a PR motivated story, is pathetic attempt at emotional blackmail.

A journalist requires objectivity, here there is clearly none, what an embarrassment!
