But I'll be honest. Im 20 and finished highschool in 2008. Hated English, but it was compulsory and important for me to get a good UAI. I managed an 88 for it (Adv. English). I'll admit it was largely due to memorizing pre-written essays I made before the exam and changing them to suit the question, but 1/2 the marks came from analysis you had to do in the exam on separate questions. At uni now doing engineering, but Ill admit they arn't exactly known for their english skills.

I'm comfortable with my level of education. But feel free to have more pot shots at me.

Then I suggest in order to improve your comprehension that you break down arguments into bare premises and check the validity of the logic. You suggesting that the causation of club combinations is invalid because Bedsy played subsequently without Joey in '04 and onwards is horrible, as it overlooks that by then Bedsy was then an incumbent in a winning team. Thus, he got his initial shot to displace Priddis, because Priddis played in a losing team that had Kimmorley as its halfback is not invalid because of events subsequent, as you suggest. Rather the argument that Kimmorley was dropped for Joey in '02, and Bedurus had the advantage of having a grand final club combination with Joey still stands. It was about how Priddis lost his spot to begin with.

It should never have been that hard for you to grasp if you're an engineer. Clearly you prefer numbers to words.

Only when your team had to face him. Most fans loved his big hits and lol'd at his suspensions

I feel for GB fans when he ko'd Robbie Kearns in the first tackle of a test. Sent off and gave Australia a massive advantage. I think Moz is someone who is easy to love and hate for both opposition fans as well as own team.

I hate Lockyer because he was too selfish to retire from rep football a few seasons ago despite it being better for the Broncos and both Australia and Queensland having good potential replacements. It just f**king irks me.

Hornby is a serial whinger who has a lot of games man ship qualities. I don't respect him enough to make him impossible to hate.

Morley was a thug. I didn't personally dislike him and he gained my infinite respect for his ability to square things up in the middle (usually against the Warriors) but can certainly see why people dislike him.

Same reason why I can understand people hating Lockyer. Tall poppy syndrome, hype backlash and for some reason it's apart of being a Sydney Rooster supporter.

EDIT: Actually Cliff, Lockyer seemed to always step up for us AFTER he'd play rep. footy so most Broncos supporters never minded.

Agree with this. And being chronically overrated as a five eigth by media. He was nowhere near Daley, Fittler, Kenny, Lamb or Lewis. Certainly nowhere near as talented as Johns or Thurston as a player in the halves to boot. Loved him as a fullback. But could not handle the bollox that the media shoved down our throats post 2004. I would have loved Prince and Thurston rocking origin 08-10.

He had legendary status for the drink and such by the good folks at Auchenflower, I was there only for a few months and it was almost like they bragged about it. They're a funny bunch up there, don't ever pronounce Toowoong incorrectly :|

Nothing to really add other than he was tested thoroughly and cleared.

Fans will always be suspicious though since Joey. Personally, I'm not 100% convinced either given Webcke tested positive to the same drug that did Ben Tune in but that news was conviniently swept under the rug.

It's why I'm really interested to read his autobiography. The players seem to always drop a bombshell or two in each book.

His fondness for the drink was hinted at in an old Broncos book TT.

That's like comparing Brett Hodgson with Anthony Minichiello. One very good player being compared with a great player.

Bedsy is on a par with Cameron Smith as the best hooker ive ever seen. He was the complete hooker and achieved everything in the game.
