Players who are nigh on impossible to hate (you guys always find a a way)

Skeepe in fine form as usual, seeing things noone else can.

Add another vote for Hey Presto. Criminal that he never got selected for NSW (must be something about Tingha - perhaps the Blues selectors think it's in Queensland like Bowraville?).

I agree with Skeepe, not to the extent he's going, but I think Hindmarsh is another Steve Price.

Maybe I'm wrong but he looks to have some grub in him, and whinges a lot.

Nothing to really add other than he was tested thoroughly and cleared.

Fans will always be suspicious though since Joey. Personally, I'm not 100% convinced either given Webcke tested positive to the same drug that did Ben Tune in but that news was conviniently swept under the rug.

It's why I'm really interested to read his autobiography. The players seem to always drop a bombshell or two in each book.

His fondness for the drink was hinted at in an old Broncos book TT.

Which book out of curiosity Pete?

I'm gonna be honest here (because I'm awesome like that) but there's a big chance I don't rate Priddis that highly because of my bitterness towards him for the 2003 grand final. That said in 2003 I was a little bitter towards Bedsy because I thought Wing had earned a start at hooker for NSW but was converted due to Bedsy's greatness.

Lol Priddis tore the Roosters a new asshole that game.

I like a lot of players, but naturally find it more difficult to like players from clubs I really don't like.

Sam Perrett is the only Roosters player I like. I don't know why, but I just like the way he plays.

I find it hard not to admire Keiran Foran from Manly.

While still disappointed Andrew Ryan went to the Bulldogs, I still remember him fondly ... and Ben Barba is great to watch when he's at his best (and even better to watch when he's at his worst).

And I don't mind some of the young guys coming through at Brisbane - Reed, Yow Yeh and Gillett ... although I'm sure I'll learn to hate 'em.

Jeremy Smith.

Had an off night tonight against a red hot Dragons, but is probably the best one on one defender I've ever seen.

Hard not to love Scott after he made Third Man Thaiday bitch it.

Not so tough all of a sudden....

Big Sam would eat your mate Beau for breakfast mate.

You never should have had allowed yourself to be reeled into a debate with a Knights' fan concerning Buderus. Trying to convince a Knights' fan Buderus didn't deserve one of his rep jumpers is like trying to convince a theologian God doesn't exist. Would you try to convert St Aquinas or Augustine to atheists?
Agreed.
For what it's worth though Buderus is a sook of one of the highest orders, I respect that he was a very good player and captain.
That being said those that say he's on par with Smith are dreaming, Smith superior by a great stretch, Buderus knows that.
I f**king hate Darren Lockyer, sure he's a great player but I hate this whole "he's a great sport" and "he's a well behaved player off the field" bullshit around him, he's a merkin, who has been involved shit but it stays hidden. He's also a whiney bitch.
He does?:?
I would have thought Lockyer is one of the last in that category, nothing p*sses him off unless he's in a mood which is in like 1 out of 100 matches.
:lol::lol: Just like in the photo right? Scott would rip his head off.
Thaiday wouldn't take him on anyway-he's not a halfback.
I look forward to the day that somebody knocks Beau Scott the f**k out.

Thirdmans days of taking on halfbacks are probably over after Origin 2...is there anyone smaller on the field he can have a go at?

Watch SOO 3, 2006 ;-)

Yup, a bad pass there, but over the course of his career, the ticker he showed as a small body and the commitment he gave means that for me, there is no way you could hate him. Queenslanders would love him. He saved 'em from 4 in a row and made Tallis look like a monster, even more than he was, and that's something.

Nathan Blacklock deserves more of a run as well, so I'll throw his name out there again.
