Please Don't sack Seibold

big hit!

I said it elsewhere a few weeks ago, the fact that Seibold has persisted with both Boyd and Milford in the starting 17 and dropped neither of them is why there are problems at the Broncos. On form neither deserve to be in the game day squad but are. As such why would the other players feel they have to put in the effort when those two, who obviously are not, get away with it yet are not punished by being dropped?

$2m of cap is tied up in those two frauds. And Pangai hardly ever plays so there's a lot of money doing f**k all if he dropped the senior two.

And he probably can't drop them, because the CEO and board who signed them to ridiculous deals won't let him

Seibold bit off more than he could chew and the Broncos screwed up offering a long term contract to a novice.

This play lets them work out an acceptable narrative that doesn't completely kill off the chance of Seibold talkng his way into a head coach role at another club down the track and the ability to achieve a palatable payout for the Broncos.

Darbs - not a good look, but who knows what the hell has gone on. Can't beleive he didn't put up with it for 7 more weeks, as this will haunt him and further dmage his legacy.

seibold should have sat tight at Souths where he already had a deal and a prelim final team.

it's looking really poor for him with Madge claiming Seibs knifed him for the Souths job, and then he walked out on souths after a season. now this clusterf**k at the broncos. at least he's educated and can go back to teaching with his millions pay out in tow.

broncos have got what they deserved for approaching a contracted coach, but Seibs should've done the right thing and told them that he wouldn't talk until his deal at souths was done. Coaches just don't walk out on clubs. It's a shame Cleary is doing well and giving it to tigers at the moment.

I still don't understand the move, it had to be the contract security although weren't Souths out to give him a pretty decent contract extension anyway? IMO he had a better side at his disposal at Souths.

What an absolute joke of a club. Happy to hire Lodge after his indiscretions, yet sack a guy for a covid breach.

No chance they are sacking practically any other player for this, but as it's TPJ and he is leaving next year anyway, sack him now.

Absolutely no soul to that club.
