Yeh selling one or two games to cairns is a disasterFunny because this weeks article he has totally changed his tune and was talking about permanent tenants and more games in Cairns.

I don't give a f**k what you think really, you just seem to want to throw a tantrum on every post, what happens to the foreign aid budget and how its spent is not something we can change, all we do is pay our taxes, you seem to think that the sum of 600 million dollars or whatever sum the Australian government decides to handover is magically going to change things, it won't. Once you start with handouts, it never stops, no matter what the sum is.
I don't care that a portion of that foreign aid money builds a team from scratch, it will eventually become self sufficient, you only have to look at the oil and mining companies in the region, besides it seems more of you are upset that this is a foreign 3rd world country getting a leg up rather than somewhere like Perth or Adelaide, who are simply not interested in the sport... i hope it goes well, I'm a believer that its a charitable concept, even with the Karen's here poking holes into every fibre of the bid
Did you read what he said?Yeh selling one or two games to cairns is a disaster
“600 million to an overseas nrl team in albos self declared favourite sport v 250 million for a Tasmania stadium that creates Australian jobs, benefits the economy, multiple sports, concerts and ensures Tasmania gets its long awaited footy team, it's a big difference.A denizen of big footy wishes the project well (in the AFL is overtaking NRL in Qld thread)
Bit weird that the NRL is being used as a political tool for the Prime Minister to maintain alliances within the Pacific but I guess that just goes to show the power of sport. If a PNG team does succeed in the NRL then I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a push to start an AFL team there as well considering footy is the second most popular sport there. PNG technically falls under the Suns academy zone but the AFL might take it more seriously and start their own academy if the NRL can make it work.
After all in the NRL can make it work the AFL will achieve even better results
Let him waffle on, he's clueless as always!
PNG threadThen Perth has no chance..
But they're going to be a powerhouse, despite the fact they wouldnt have any hope of existing without a massive handout.Claiming that PNG will have the biggest sponsorship of any NRL club.
Demonstrate you're an ignorant imbecile, without saying you're an ignorant imbecile.
I guarantee you png will have a way bigger sponsorship portfolio than PerthBut they're going to be a powerhouse, despite the fact they wouldnt have any hope of existing without a massive handout.
of course you can guarantee that lolI guarantee you png will have a way bigger sponsorship portfolio than Perth
Of courseof course you can guarantee that lol
You know where the biggest Australian mining companies are?I guarantee you png will have a way bigger sponsorship portfolio than Perth
Comprehension is not your strong suit, nor is your argument.... stay salty maxipadThat's quite the whinge. I guess you realise how bad it looks to openly want money taken off kids without clean drinking water just to the NRL can get it.

No tantrum fuƙface, just pointing out you're a massive karen, keep on bloodying up those padsI comprehended your posts just fine. You wanted money taken from the aid budget of a 3rd world country so it could go to the nrl, and then when that was pointed out to you, you chucked a tantrum.
No, not like a Govt to change policy!I was led to believe that Govt funding is always locked in
