This thread is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. We've got a few characters blindly arguing for the following crap:

1. The Federal Government of Australia to spend tens of millions of Australian dollars on a team that represents PNG but is based in Cairns.
2. Will fly into Port Moresby on game day to play.
3. Does this for at least fifty years.

LOL

No one from Australia and New Zealand would want to play for this team.

That leaves locals from PNG as the talent base for this team. The majority of Papuans are of smaller stature due to malnourishment. This puts them at a significant disadvantage and can only be corrected over decades by providing billions of dollars worth of food to the country. Good luck getting it into the rural communities that aren't connected by road.
