Reni Maitua was suspended for 2 years. Since he's come back at Parra he's been ordinary at best.

Greg Bird lied to the club. He lied to police. He'd been in a stack of trouble previously. The club had to sack him. They had no choice at the time. It was only after his Mrs refused to talk to Police that they case fell down. Is his innocent? Or just not enough evidence to prove him guilty? Most clubs would have taken the same action.

Brett Seymour was a victim of circumstance. Serial offender. Yes the last incident was relatively minor, but it was the last straw. May have been some financial reasons behind it too.

Actually it's a good analogy.. Club does the right thing and cuts players, but gets no reward or compensation from NRL.. So what incentive is there for others to follow suit?

Monaghan has more guts and more integrity than 99% of footballers who sit there and play the blame game when they do dumb things. Monaghan has my respect for standing up and accepting responsibility for his actions.

Ummmm, there's a photo of his dick in a dog's mouth. It's a bit hard to avoid responsibility for his actions when it's right there for everyone to see.

He didn't stand up, he was about to get pushed out and he knew it. He fell on his sword before the board put it through him.

The club was also aware of the photo for quite some time before it became public knowledge.

Yes they obviously were. Its the approach most NRL clubs take because its easier than having to actually do something. Look at Newcastle as a pretty good example.
