Some people are so naive to think that this is solely a Newcastle culture. Every single club in the NRL would have a drug taking culture, whether it be mixing Stillnox with red bull or taking Ecstacy. Head out to your teams favourite nightclub and check out which players have massive pupils and are pingin off their faces. It is only a matter of time before another club has a drug scandal. Plus it is a lot easier for a player to get up the next morning for training after a night out if they have only popped a pill or 2 rather than downing 15 schooners.

and for what its worth, as far as the law is concerned Tilse has committed no crime, the girl lodged no complaint and the police filed no charges. That is not to excuse his actions, which were unacceptable. He was in the wrong and he was punished for it. Others were not.
