By the way... it was Charles Sturt University, not Bathurst.

Not surprising to see you struggling with simple facts, though.

Um there is a Charles Sturt University in Bathurst....as well as Wagga, Albury etc.

On topic. Who gives a f**k if some knights were slipping some pingas. Its really centralised to the knights :sarcasm:. People on here obviously dont get out too much too see how many people are really on illicit drugs every weekend.

Who cares which club is worse. In the end the main article provides chat logs from players at the time employed by the nights. Do you guys really think the common fan will look at this and say, "wow this article basically implies the entire knights squad as druggies.. But it's okay cause that wranger from Canberra was doing a dog"

The NSW captain is named in an article about drugs.. Forget which clubs are worse off, drugs in our game make us look bad. Sure it happens in every sport but this article isn't about the others.. It is about a rugby league team.

Anyone that defends drug use is absolute tool. These shit head players earn better money than most of the people on this forum. Why do they need drugs to have fun?

Our sport really does attract dumb merkin players.

People who use drugs generally only effect themselves and no one else (unless of course they start committing crimes to support their habit). I don't see how popping tablets is any of our business tbh. It's their life and not yours or mine.

Not sure why having a lot of money should preclude drug use.

You'd think money would just enable people to buy better quality drugs and more of them.

As TISM say...

Drugs are f**king fun, pal:
Factor that f**king in
To your Drug O-f**king-fensive
Type health f**king warnin’.

And as far as defending drug use, does this just apply to drug use by footballers or the population in general?

I dunno, it's seems acceptable in society to go to the pub and have a beer or ten.

Alcohol causes far more damage to both the consumer and the people around them than, say, marijuana, ecstacy or acid. Please people under the effects of those tend to be more interesting than drunks too.

According to raiders 2k2 and others who share similar views, because the govt says we are "allowed" to drink alcohol there's no problem with it.. but because the government dont like us smoking weed, only scumbags do it.

I agree drugs affect the individual, however that is not the case here. Drug use by a player affects the credibility of our game. Despite the fact it happens in most sports we cannot use that as an excuse.

It is obvious drug use is rampant in the knights.. To be fair it is probably rampant throughout the entire league.

Illegal is illegal, even if it is only minor (which this isn't)

I actually think drunk players are just as bad.. However we are not discussing alcohol. The article did not state wicks was selling liquor.

Kinda reminds me of the Noa Nadruku defense...

"Sorry officer, I drank a bottle of wine, 40 schooners and a six pack, I was too drunk to understand that I was beating the shit out of those two women outside of South Pac."

"Oh, sorry to bother you Noa, you're off the hook. We've had reports that someone might be smoking a J, we've got more important places to be!"

I'll agree with that. It puts league in a bad light and players should be punished for sure.. I just don't agree that doing drugs makes someone a bad person

Like I said earlier, this isn't about anything besides players employed by the knights (at one point).

Simply referring to incidents involving the raiders does not help your point.

Honestly, if it happened at the end of the season then I don't really give a f**k. They were only taking pingers.

If drug use really is rampant in League then all teams should be congratulated on how well they've coached the players to manage their affairs and keep it mostly out of the spotlight.

Well, you know what they say about glass houses and throwing stones... I mean, if what is ultimately the issue here is players bringing the game into disrepute then the Raiders are certainly up there.

That is crazy.

Last weekend we had our grandfinal. We have several international tests and you think it is okay for players to be dealing drugs? Okay I understand you are defending those which took the pills, not dealt the pills. Regardless an entire team searching for drugs, does that come across as players looking to have fun? There bloody looking for a hookup at like 4am. This is clearly a normal occurance.

Mate, your a douche.

The article is not a poll about which club is worse.. It is about the knights looking for drugs.

If the article was about the raiders than I would discuss them. You on the other hand do not understand logic.

Actually I think you'll find it's fairly normal when your other plan fell through.
