Greg Bird will be picked ... no doubt.

Rubbish, He will be picked for City Country if he keeps up his form and then be judged for origin selection from there.

This team might look a bit crazy, but it has a mixture of form players, kangaroos and experienced origin campaigners.........

1. Stewart (can see him scoring a number of tries of masons and tupous ofloads)
2. King
3. Cooper
4. Lyon
5. Merritt (wingers need to score tries and hes the best in the business)
6. Carney (him and farah will be the players to lead nsw over the next 6-8 years)
7. Monaghan (form nsw halfback by miles)
8. Bailey
9. Farah (imagine what he could do behind a decent forward pack!)
10. Kite
11. Hindmarsh
12. Mason
13. Ryan

14. Anasta (lucky, but we'll need back up in the halves)
15. O'Meley (the meathead every team needs)
16. Hoffman (covers backrow and centres....sh*tloads better then Maitua)
17. Tupou

I would have picked Tahu but w should never ever reward a traitor to rugby league

you can scratch toddy
he was MIA this week, unless he can prove he can play good footy outside Canberra Stadium, then no point

I'd still go Carney.

Just gotta have faith that he can turn up on the night.

And as said earlier we may as well play the future now, just for the experience atleast.

i just cant understand how todd can go from being so dominate one week, and being practically unsighted the next... actually our entire team could have that question posed to them, guess it will come with experience, but i think until he shows some consistant form he is probably a very long shot... he still has time to show what he's got, but at this stage i think the extra year will be needed...

that said, if you're going to look to the future, then Carney is still the best option at this point

It seems that Carney has done well when his forwards have dominated. And the NSW forward pack is basically the Australian forward pack. So I still think he'd go good in that environment.

Anyway if he only plays good at home we can play him in game 2 and maybe just play Mullen in game 1 :p

yea true, when his forwards give him room to move, there is scarecly a better ball playing and running 5/8th in the comp then him... might be onto something there with the last line

can't wait for this years series

all the suggested teams above = Qld winning 3-0 and will be so sweet

Prince is not gonna get a go for Qld, but would be a certainty for the blues ... been a long time since we have seen that scenario

go dai blues ... you suck !

Oink !
