= you’d be happy with Gennings on a wing againFergo needs a stint at Wenty

So why was Salmon not given a chance at centre? Head scratching.
Hoffman to wing and Salmon centre next week if MJ out?
He was probably just a bit slimyI have no idea.
I don't think Salmon should have been dropped to begin with.

Hoffman played well enough. We might see him remain in the side at Takairangi's expense when Mennings returns.Sivo is back ... soI if Mennings is out just do salmon at centre
I've had 4 broken ribs and I can attest that it is no fun. Having said though, Fergo has always been inconsistent. Some days are diamonds, some days are stone. For sure, you look at his impact and performance prior to the injury and he was phenomenal, since his returned his been very ineffective, playing with a rib injury would certainly hamper your performance.
That was me mate. You can always hit reply on the other thread and highlight it, then cut and paste it in whichever thread you want.I'd just like to say that I thought the splitting of the game day thread was a good idea until i wanted to reply to some posts in there but had no option to do so. I'll paste this here so i can.
We need old experienced heads (and possibly a coach who learns to play the percentages). Why we didn’t take the field goal when it was on offer is unacceptable.
Game manage from in front you useless f**king merkins.
Percentages is one thing but I've always been proud that we don't play that way. Yes we need to hold the ball and earn the right to play expansive footy. That's a no brainer in this day and age. Yes we need to be better in the ruck with our wrestle. We also need a better kick chase and 5th tackle options. But if we ever give up on playing Parraball when it's on, I will be a very unhappy chappy. As bad as it is ATM, at least we are still trying to play footy the way it was meant to be. Win or loose*. I'm glad we aren't a robotic , boring footy team. I'm not glad that it makes us so shit though.
Im also certainly not suggesting we play one out footy but I think certain scenarios call for calmer heads and that was one such situation IMO.I'd just like to say that I thought the splitting of the game day thread was a good idea until i wanted to reply to some posts in there but had no option to do so. I'll f**ken jug you, you merkin! It looks like there has been some good debate and exchange of ideas today. I haven’t read any of it because I have been at my Opus Dei meeting but let’s get some solutions going.
I can see us fighting it, we are a club of fighters.
