Predict the 2010 Ladder

A lot of people are underestimating the Cowboys, but that's expected with a disappointing couple of seasons.
And in return, Souths top 8? Who have they bought apart from Dave Taylor and who is their new coach to take the to the top?
Same old Souths next year, I daresay.

I won't predict the ladder until all the purchases are done!

Sam Burgess. Probably the best forward to come out of England since the War.

John Lang isn't exactly chopped liver...

...I hate them, but they're a much better team 1 through to 25 than most NRL clubs by the looks of it next season with a proper coach to boot.

I agree, if they don't make the 8 next year than there's something massively wrong with that club.

no more excuses souths fans.

Eels - Bought well, have confidence and can only screw it up themselves
Dragons - Bennett - nothing more needs to be said
Dogs - Should have beaten the Eels but lost composure - need to learn to play without Noddy (too predictable)
Storm - Bought well but key players will suffer from international and SOO duties (hunger may not be there)
Also lost home advantage - new stadium
Sea Eagles - Still have a great team and a magnificent home advantage
Roosters - Tough Coach - Great Roster - Will be in the top 8 easily
Rabbitohs - Have bought really well and have a seasoned coach - cannot see them out of the 8
Raiders - Showed glimpses of what they can do - I think they can be contenders

Tigers - Again bought well - off field antics may be a problem
Titans - Now ON the radar and will not be underestimated - cannot win without Prince being fully fit - great home advantage
Warriors - Have bought a fantastic No 7 James Maloney - but the continuity across the park is iffy - Steve Price is the key
Cowboys - Wild card - Need a string of wins to build confidence
Broncos - Lost Carroll, Hunt and Taylor - spent all their bucks on Issy
Knights - Not on my Radar
Sharks - How many years without a premiership - need to stop calling them virgins and re-tile them as Nuns
Panthers - Nah! - just keep screwing it up.

I'll wait until after his first NRL season to make a claim like that.

I think even roosters fans will say its a massive stretch they will be in the 8 EASILY- Great coach, average roster will not come anywhere near the 8 IMO. Loss of Fitzgibbon is massive- you can't replace a guy like that.

Again bought well? Hahahahah, we never have and this year isn't really different.

As for off field antics, we're the the club with the best reputation of off field behavior. Man you're clueless.
