2008 will see Manly threaten the 8 (based on referees assistance at Brookvale) but have a dreadful year all round.

You know it makes sense.

About as much sense as your claims that Manly were good for the spoon this year, that we'd collapse mid season and that the Rabbitohs would school us in the finals. Bless sweetheart, bless.

Not a fan of making predictions at this stage. I just hope that it will be a much better year for the Panthers and we'll have a decent halves combination. If we can get the halves to do a decent job I think we have a better forward pack now with Petero up front and Woolnough coming in and great young talent like Jennings, Sammut, Grant & Iosefa will do well. A place in the top 8 is really required or Elliot might not last his contract.
