I think we will see a seige mentality from manly all season under hasler which will see them finish 7th-10th.

I expect their results are brookvale in particular to improve markedly

I don't know...

Is there a team this year that is more reliant on just 2-3 players in their team.

Can see them losing any game where Tom T doesn't have a blinder.

They are a key injury away from the spoon.

Which 2-3? The Trbojevics? DCE? Tapau and AFB? Walker? Korisau? Manly lack depth and an injury or 2 will be hugely damaging but I wouldn't say they're reliant on 2-3 players.

So many people leaving the Sharks out of their top 8.

No problem, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

As a Sharks supporter I find it interesting on the trend that a lot of opposition supporters see Cronulla not going very well this year.

I think they're still a threat but the loss of Luke Lewis ( who I rank right up there ) and Holmes will really hurt them.. Gal is a year older .....even the loss of Ramien is one I think they will feel this season. No matter what they say about being pro athletes etc etc the off season has been very disrupted and not an ideal preparation. Coach is also going to be on a very steep learning curve.

Having Graham out for the start of the year is a big loss too.

The Sharks toughness will keep them in most games but as good attacking player as Johnson is he can’t make up for Holmes, Ramien, Lewis and Graham.

I can see them struggling for a few reasons
-As mentioned by a few posts - the talent going out outweighs the talent coming in, losing 20+ tries guaranteed in Holmes & a strong leader in Lewis will hurt. Johnson is a talent, but 8 years into his career is still yet to really push on from his early promise and develop into a world class player.
-Off field drama - rarely do teams perform well under those circumstances
-New inexperienced coach, who has played in the same team only a few seasons back with several players in the side, definitely the potential for him to be a little buddy/buddy with the players.

Could be completely wrong, but there are red flags next to the Sharks which might scare people off putting them in their 8.

There are massive red flags for the sharks this year all of which have already been mentioned. That is not to say that they won't prove us wrong but it is completely logical to have them as one of the top 8 sides in 2018 missing out in 2019.

Chooks have the best chance since the Bronks of going back to back. I really only see Penrith or the Bronks as any teams that might give them a push

I think the Storm will slip down to about 6th, Cam Smith is on the decline. Sharks will compete but will not make the eight. Knights will make the eight and basically the rest is a lucky dip.

Manly could suprise
