Jets entered the NSWRL comp in year 2000. We made eighth spot in the first year, thinking we had done enough to make the semi's first year in. Then Penrith had to beat cronulla by about thirty something points and sharks were going well that year and ahead of them on the table. penrith pulled off the undo -able, knowing what was required in advance to make the semi's and took eighth spot from us on for and against alone. Then went all the way from eighth spot to their credit, losing the grandfinal to canterbury.

It's good to see Norths going better this season I reckon.

Norths beat Auckland 46-10 and leapfrog them into third place.

Norths haven't had a player in the NSW Residents team for a few years but i think they deserve to have a few selected this year.
