just like the scandal in italian football in 2006, the 2nd placed team were awarded the championship, i have no issue with that at all.

I wouldn't want to get the Premiership this way. We wouldn't want it this way. I don't see how anyone could be proud to say we won the comp when the final score was 23-16 against us. Doesn't work.

This is a bigger blight on OUR game than the Super League war. Even bigger than the Doggies cheating and sex scandals. This is THE glamour club of the comp. Yes i feel cheated. Yes it's pissed me off. I don't feel sorry for the Storm players, i do however feel for the Storms fans.

David Gallop was asked that question last year after the Dogs game, and stated that if it were to happen in a grand final it would be up to the NRL's discretion as to whether they replay the match, reverse the decision, or keep it as it stands, depending on the seriousness of the breach.

Haven't gone through the mass of posts here so don't know if it has been brought up befor, but when I think of the 02 premiership and the Doggie's scandal seeing the Roosters take out the title, I always think of them holding the "Clayton's" cup for the premiership.

Would feel even worse to have it awarded to us now.

In saying that wouldn't mind the record books to show (manly) and (parramatta) in brackets for the respective years, to somehow acknowledge their efforts, with an asterix led explanation that Melbourne were stripped of the title for cheating.

It's a parramatta forum. Rest assured I feel the same about Manly, but their fans aren't barking idiots who want the premiership so badly.

And no, Wests got knocked out by losing to the Titans, but they lost to the Storm, so technically according to some fans, the result should be reversed.

Oh please. We didn't win sh*t. Whatever has or hasn't happened everybody knows that the storm won the 07 and 09 grand finals. Nothing will change that.

Personally if reports that the club is trying to have us awarded a premiership are true then I am incredibly embarrassed by that.
