A cheap shot ? A little exaggerated. Danny Williams incident was a cheap shot, the NZ Warrior who smacked Ash Harrison was a cheap shot...

I'd put Price's shot in the same class as Meli's on Harrison actually. Price got some treatment from Morrison, lashed out in frustration and smacked him one. Meli got a little bit of a facial from Harrison and reacted by giving Harrison a slap (it was only a slap, he didn't close his fist and really line him up or anything). Both stupid acts of frustration, and deserving of the one week suspensions that they both recieved, but neither was particularly malicious.
Willians on the other hand waited a few seconds, then lined his man up when he wasn't looking and tried to knock him out. There was serious intent to hurt in Williams' shot and that's why it was deserving of far more than Price or Meli's offences.

I'm not sure what they spiked Pricey's gatorade with last Saturday night, but it certainly wasn't an E.

Having said that... Pricey should have got off with a caution IMO.

yeah well that was a fight ,its a bit different to hitting someone when they are not expecting to be hit

the mason incident was a little different that was a half fight ,both guys were looking at each other and why in the hell did mason back away from a smaller guy like myles , is he friends with Mundine (same fighting style ,hit then backpedal)

but i did notice that after the fight mason went abit quiet in the game
maybe melbourne could use that to their advantage

danny williams punch was called a "king hit" because mark o'neill wasn't looking and didn't expect it. so, glenn morrison wasn't looking and didn't expect it so how come price isn't being called a king hitter too

Price deserves a week for planting a fore arm in the face of a player, Nathen Cayless got 3 weeks for his leading forearm, and it made a lot less contact than Price's...

Having said that, if every player who made contact with the head of an opponent using their forearm got suspended. Michael Crocker would go on report for every second tackle he made......

Morrison was asking for it. If you have a look at the tape, part of morrisons arm and hand was on Price's face when he slamed his head to the ground. It was a head slam. Morrison should have been put on report and charged.

If you think the roosters are a protected species have a little look at that one.
I live in brizvegas and what a biased lot they are up here always complaining about how they will get a raw deal from the judiciary.
Then you have this incident above and then this year he goes and asks for less time on the sideline and gets his request. Roosters have nothing on broncs for special treatment.

P.S. I still hate the roosters
