My daughter was sitting with me to watch the game yesterday (she has a bit of a thing for the Morris boys - so the perfect game for her to watch). As the dogs were nearing the line I said to her "they'll go in here". She said "how do you know? They seem to be defending OK". " I said "I just know". Sure enough, 2 plays later, they went over. After the first try I said to her "The bulldogs will score alot of points today".

It was evident from the outset. There was no heart and no commitment.

What disappoints me is the lack of camaraderie in the team. There's no support, no talking or fire in the team throughout the game. It's like not one of the players wants to play with the rest of the team. There's no congrats after a good job, there's no vigorous back slapping after a good tackle, there's just no 'team' in the team. It's like a bunch of individuals who don't know each other turn up on the day to play a game of footy.

There is something definitely missing.

This explains it. Where is the spirit? Where does it come from?

My son plays junior league. Before the season starts they play trial games to sort out what division they will play in. Watching yesterdays game was like watching a Division 1 team play a division 6 team - the only difference was there is no mercy rule.

for me, its the same complaint since 2012.... results aside.. issues develop on the field (even when we win), but nothing changes.. no clever ideas are there next week.. nothing happens until a month after the issue/player/tactic should have been addressed... by which time our momentum has slid, motivation is down.. and the season is on the ropes.

I can handle holding the wooden spoon if thats all our roster can muster, as long as were actively looking to improve our gameplan.. ideally in a proactive manner, not delayed/reactively.

I agree mate. I have followed this club for over 50 years & I too are entitled to my opinion. These fly by nighters who call other supporters names are giving me the shits, so go & pull your head in & have some respect for other peoples views.
If you disagree with my sentiments, bad luck, but you know where you can go.
Also having been a supporter for so long, I happened to see & meet Reg Gasnier & in my mind he was a thorough gentlemen & definitely the most brilliant footballer I have ever seen.

When we win it's usually been on the back of some individual brilliance, from the likes of Dugan, Morris or Merrin... And then Price steps up at the press conference and sugar coats it to make it sound like his coaching and tactics were the key to the victory.

Very rarely if ever, have we won a match where Prices tactics or game plan were the difference..
So for the moment we need our big guns not to fire in order to expose Price for the fraud he is.
Short term pain for long term gain I think is the only option left for the club at he moment, too many people in high places in the club delusional, all believing each other's dribble...

Did anyone watch Price's interview on The Sunday Footy Show. FMD. He is absolutely clueless and should not be anywhere near a first grade team.

I cringe every time I hear him say: "we're a very proud footy team" or "we pride ourselves on playing Dragons footy".
